EIM Assistance Program

The Electrical Installation and Maintenance (EIM) Assistance Program is one of the main programs of Vivant Foundation, and served as basis for technical-vocational support component of the EU-funded project, Renewable Energy for Livelihood and Youth (RELY). The Foundation developed the program after seeing how public schools, particularly in rural and remote areas, struggled to implement the K-12 system. Being the corporate foundation of an energy company, the Foundation decided to focus on improving the Electrical Installation and Maintenance (EIM) track of public senior high schools in communities where its corporate parent has business interests. Bantayan National High School in Cebu Province became the first beneficiary of the EIM Support Program, which included the donation of essential tools and equipment, including laptop and projector set.
